Sayonara: The Horn is Closed

Word on the street is that as of March 1st, 2015 The Horn has closed for good.
Staff member are said to have been in shock as the business closed without any warning.
Judging by how empty the place has been we can see how that happened.

We're so sad to see this place go...
hopefully the new owners will be able to salvage the liquor license & make something amazing happen... or not!!

xoxo

  1. I remember the countless nites of me ringing up a large tab then slipping out the back door after having some bare back sex in the bathroom!!

  2. Get a clue, Santa Monica Blvd. Business Owners: our free library is packed all the time and our $40 entree restaurants are failing. The bridge & tunnel weekend crowd might drop $40 on booze to dance and stare at sexy gay guys, but the locals will never pay $40 for entrees no matter how nice your establishment looks. I know you all want to be Sur, but you don't have a celebrity and/or Armenian crowd who will support those prices.

    1. Between a ghetto nail salon and a ghetto pizza place.

  5. Flaming Saddles is still open because the owners have $. The Horn has no money behind it & extremely high operating costs. This thing was a fail to begin with. The Horn was trying too hard to be something it's not.

  6. They had like seven very expensive items on the menu. They should have been more like a Saddle Ranch-type place. WeHo needs more casual, sit-down restaurant. If you want a spendy steak place there are literally a dozen next door in BH and on La Cienaga.

  7. I worked there and stole every night! Every time i had a nice tab going i would do a return and in stead of ringing them up i would do a return on my atm debit card and the cash would go right Into my bank account!!! Taylor was doing the same thing!!!! I would also place bottle of lique in togo bags when my friends would come in then we would drink the liqur after words! haha!! byeeee byeeeeeee!

  8. According to Wehoville, Horn is "planning to reopen the restaurant in April with a cheaper menu."

    1. Well, just to start...prolly the TRASH CAN! All those couches fell apart! He used apparel fabric at $3 dollars a yard instead of upholstery fabric!!! Junk! All garbage!! The couches were not of sitting height an dthe back wa s straight up to save $!!! I worked there for 3 weeks, the custumers complained about the cheap foam they were wrapped in and how the fabric was peeling off!
      Trash!!

  13. No surprise that they are closing. Karma always come around. Adam Klesh embezzled from the Abbey to open this place and now it's failing. Be careful what you do.

  14. Bad Hiring Decisions from the start, this is what happens when you hire your friends, they steal from you. As a business owner I can tell you that you need to be there every night for the first year or you wont make it. The Owner took too many vacations and days off to even know what was going on at his restaurant. Probably has no clue what a P&L is. Not to mention WeHo is full of out of work GoGo Dancers that can barely afford there Studio let alone a $40 Steak.

  15. The Horn still owes people who built it before it opened several thousand dollars and won't pay. Yes they can afford to have a closing night party and $150 bottle service. Assholes.

  17. The food was totally overpriced. My friend got salmon and it was literally a piece of salmon on a small plate. Ridiculous. This is Weho not Beverly Hills - the owner is grandious and arrogant. Way to know who and what you're dealing with trying to be all chic on a strip that's meant to be more inclusive and fun -
